Do you need a backyard oasis like the one pictured here? Maybe a comfy family room or some new furnishings for your breakfast room?
Well, you might want to check out these photos then, of this project completed last year that is ready for spring and some beautiful indoor/outdoor living.
Family Room Reveal
This family room was bare and in need of some comfortable, durable fabrics since the doors open up to the back patio and pool area.
The builder had planned the tv to be on the main wall between the two windows, but I thought it a better idea to relocate it to the end wall so that furnishings can be focused with a view to the back yard.
Lots of comfy seating, including two recliners and two swivel chairs floating in the room, add flexibility to the space.
Only one piece of furniture was available for reuse, a lovely carved wood cabinet which found a home in the far corner of the room.
Chocolate brown tones were introduced to echo the wood floor color in the shades, leather upholstery and wood finishes. The cool green of the rug, walls, and upholstery reflected the outdoor area and provided a nice cozy color combination for this space.
Breakfast Room
The painted table and chairs work nicely on the dark wood floor, looking out to the pool beyond. A Crypton fabric was used for durability on the seats.
Backyard oasis
The curved sectional sofa provides a great spot to lounge by the pool. The round chaise on the far deck serves as a nice visual accent and picks up the color of the pool tile.
