I know we’re all in the throes of holiday activities, but I’m still dreaming about my trip to San Francisco with Zephyr's blogger retreat and the day we spent in Napa, wine tasting and admiring all the beauty of this region. I’ve got some not-to-miss places to visit on your next trip to Napa. These wineries were an interior design lover’s dream. Let’s take a look.
First on our tour was Joseph Phelps Vineyards. It has such a grand, spectacular entrance. You know you're in for a real treat on this visit.
They have a beautifully remodeled building, designed by BCV Architects and are enjoying their new spaces. The original structure, designed by John Marsh Davis back in 1973, was honored, keeping the original trellis structure and redwood exterior. Here are some of the incredible spaces, details and vistas that caught my eye.
Next up was lunch in the caves at Rutherford Hill.
You really feel the mood and get a true winery experience touring these caves. Again, spectacular views and inspiring ambiance. Lunch in a cave….what a special treat!
Up next was the art-filled winery of Hall Wines.
This winery houses a world-class art collection, on the grounds and in the buildings. Identified by the Bunny Foo Foo at the entrance to the property, you know at once, you will be treated to an amazing experience. There were more incredible views and a divine tasting room full of glass panels overhead that shimmer and slightly move as the breeze passes through the space. The Zephyr people captured that in a beautiful photo here. All of it was simply breathtaking.
Many thanks to my friends at Zephyr who organized this retreat. My giveaway has ended and the happy winner is considering which fabulous Zephyr hood she wants for her upcoming remodel.
Be sure to check out Zephyr for the ventilation in your next kitchen project. Want to see more about this fabulous trip? Check out these posts below.
