One year my dog peed on my Christmas tree skirt.
Yuck.
And the cleaners wouldn’t touch it — because there were some hand-sewn items on it they didn’t want to accidentally damage and be responsible for.
So, very carefully, I removed the hand-made items from the tree skirt, making sure it didn’t touch the stained area, and threw the skirt away.
While, for the most part, I did like the tree skirt, it was, however, a bright red felt — and I’m not much of a bright red felt kind of person, not even during Christmas time.
So I’m looking around for a new Christmas tree base option.
Here's what I've found.
