Today I’m sharing my reveal of the redo of my son’s old bedroom. It’s now a comfy guest bedroom for him or anyone else who wants to visit!
I shared the design plan for this room before. That lamp on the chest is my husband’s old horn that my mother-in-law had made into a lamp for my son years ago. Fun, huh? (You know, ANYTHING can become a lamp — oh, good blogpost fodder!) I think you’ll agree it came out just as expected — although now I really want some drapery panels! :-(
This will do for now, though, as I have the room next to it that is basically full of boxes and junk that I need to get rid of and develop as a guest room, too. I’m just so sick of having extraneous stuff hanging around my house. I mean, if I haven’t “crafted” in 15 years, why would I need craft items? Or ski gear in Texas, when I don’t ski anymore? Ugh...I hate going through that stuff. I’d rather be blogging . :-)
So take a peek at my guest room. And if you want my sources for fabrics, furniture, paint color, etc., I’ve included a link to that list at the bottom. ;-)
So what do you think: a little masculine, neat and tidy, comfy and useful?
That’s what I was going for. You know, you always need to have the goal in mind before you start the design.
