When I went to Round Top Antique Fair this past fall, I noticed several vendors with an assortment of old globes.
These ordinary, standard globes set upon a shelf in a father’s study or a kid’s bedroom can be transformed from a useful object into a unique collectible.
Amassed on a shelf or tabletop in varying sizes and colors, a collection of globes can create a really beautiful display.
I think they work really well as decor placed on top of of a cabinet. (Yikes, I can't believe I said that!) Or I love the mini-globes, without their pedestals, when tossed into a large bowl.
Today I’ve collected some beauties for you to get your hands on. These are all new, but vintage is great if you are a vintage shopper. Start that globe collection for yourself, today!
I saw this vintage globe dealer at Marburger at Round Top’s most recent show. You can contact him at the link if you are interested in acquiring any quality vintage globes for your decor.
